6 days tour from Fes to Merzouga

Day 1: Fes Sightseeing Guided Tour

In 6 day Morocco desert trip Fes Marrakech via Merzouga, starts from Fes we’ll pick you up from your hotel/riad for an enjoyable Fes Sightseeing guided Tour in air-conditioned vehicle and local bilingual guide. The first place, our fez tour, will include the Andalusia mosque, Built at the end of the 9th century, and tanners’ quarters, where leather is made, using only natural colors. El-Attarine Madrasa, built in 1325, is The most prominent religious Quarraouine Mosque in the heart of the Medina. In addition, Azouia Moulay Idriss is open to non-Muslims, Nejjarine Museum, Royal Palace, and Bab Boujloud Gate. We will not complete our tour until we see the most important monuments. At the end, we’ll drop you off at your hotel/riad.

Day 2: Fes – Azrou (Cedar forest) – Midelt 

Next morning, after breakfast, we’ll leave Fez for Midelt. Of course, we’ll pass through Ifrane, a resort built in a complete Moroccan style in the 1930s by the French. Then, we’ll visit the cedar forests in Azrou to watch the monkeys. Most of our day from Fez to Midelt will be spent exploring attractive forests, springs, and Berber villages… At the end of our travel, we’ll reach Middle and check into the hotel/riad.

Day 3: Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara Desert 

After breakfast, we’ll continue our Morocco trip from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga, leaving from Midelt to Merzouga Morocco desert. On our travel, we’ll make many stops to capture photos, enjoy the cool air, panoramic views, see a huge oasis of palm tree. We’ll reach Merzouga and check the hotel/riad.

 Day 4: Merzouga desert tour and Camel trek

The next day, we’ll leave to visit KHAMLIA village and enjoy listening to Gnawa music. Then, We’ll visit deserted mines, Berber nomads, an oasis of palm trees… Back to Merzouga for lunch and relaxing. We’ll adventure in the dunes on a camel trek in the evening. The night will be at an equipped camp with drums and music. This Morocco Sahara desert trip is an excellent opportunity to take pictures of the sunset and sunrise. At this time, we will explore the secrets of the Sahara and its unlimited horizons—night in tents.

Day 5: Merzouga – Ouarzazate 

Get up early, walk over the dunes to watch the sunrise, have breakfast, and relax. Then, we take the road towards Gorges. We are stopping to visit Rissani to discover the historical monument of Sijilmassa, the prominent center of desert trade, and the Kasbahs (village fortify). Then, we will continue passing through Ziz Valley and Gorges; we will have a short walk in Todra Gorge to enjoy the beauty of rivers and mountains. Finally, we’ll reach Ouarzazate, dinner, and overnight in a riad or traditional Kasbahs.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech 

After breakfast, we will visit Ouarzazate to discover the Kasbah of Taourirt and Atlas Studios movie studios … From here, we will head to the Fint Oasis, near Ouarzazate. Then, we will take the Tizi-n-Tichka road, stopping for lunch. In the late afternoon, we will reach Marrakech, where our tour ends.
